Linus Clostermann
About           News

In his sculptures, installations, and environments, Linus Clostermann explores fictional landscapes, non-human organisms, and their perspectives on bodies, architectures, and other habitats by drawing inspiration from narratives in the horror, fantasy, and science fiction genres. He also investigates the seemingly contradictory relationship between artificial, industrially produced materials and forms, which are modeled after living and growing beeings. Linus Clostermann develops objects based on his observations of nature and biological processes, and creates site-specific installations that are parasitically or symbiotically connected to the exhibition architecture.
